Welcome to Alphonsa High School
Alphonsa High School was established in June 1987 and is run by the Santome Charitable Trust of Kalyan of the Diocese of Kalyan in collaboration with the sisters of the Franciscan Clarist Congregation. The Diocese of Kalyan was erected in 1988 by Papal Bull for the People of Syro Malabar Church in Maharashtra. It comprises 14 districts of the state within the ecclesiastical territories of Mumbai, Pune, and Nasik. The motto of Alphonsa High School is love, service, and truth.
Ever since its establishment in 1987, the school has contributed a major share to extending the scope and reach of regional educational achievements. AHS was instrumental in helping students obtain top ranks in many competitive examinations.

ANNUAL THEME 2025- 2026 DEDICATED TO "HOPE" “SPES NON CONFUNDIT”
At Alphonsa High School, our annual theme for the academic year 2025–2026 is “Hope – Spes Non Confundit”, meaning Hope does not disappoint. Rooted in faith and resilience, this theme reflects our belief in the power of hope to uplift, inspire, and guide us through life’s challenges. It encourages our students, staff, and the entire school community to remain optimistic, courageous, and forward-looking, no matter the circumstances.
By dedicating this year to hope, we aim to nurture a mindset where dreams are pursued with determination and setbacks are met with strength. Through classroom lessons, outreach programs, and daily interactions, we will cultivate a culture that sees possibility in every situation.
With “Hope” as our guiding light, we aspire to create a learning environment filled with positivity, perseverance, and a deep faith in the future.
